Verboten presents Three, Tanner Ross and Taimur Agha at Thor (LES,NYC) Sunday February 13, 2011

DJ Three rocking us proper

We arrived at the Hotel on Rivingtons, Thor at 4:55pm, just in time to make the guest list cut off. The bouncers were happy, the woman at the door taking names was inviting and sweet and we were ready to get down. When we first walked in, we immediately noticed the fantastic downbeat jams coming from the dj booth. Tanner Ross (Motherbird Agency) was gracing the place with some recognizable and some not so recognizable tracks. Courtney and I ended up ooohhing and aaaaahhhing over most of what he delivered. Soon after he wooed us to the dance floor and our 7 hour dance journey began.

Things really progressed as the night carried on and then Three (Hallucination Limited) took over the decks. He threw down a deep bass driven, sometimes melodic, sometimes disco, sometimes downright dirty set and we LOVED every minute of it. (and I’m not just saying that because he’s part of our Tampa family, we mean it!). After a bangin three (hehehe) hour set, Taimur Agha (Blk|market Membership) joined on and they continued a fantastic techy and uber dance worthy tag set for the remainder of the evening.  I’m pretty sure we burned holes in the dance floor. Thank you Verboten, we love you Chris Milo and special thanks to the bouncers for being so friendly and just all around awesome and the bartenders for being so sweet and attentive (even though we weren’t drinking alcohol).
