I’m DONE seeing terrible djs. Seriously people, your being booked over and over because you made a decent track or because you play “LIVE” (whatever the F that means) but you can’t take the time to practice what you’re being paid for…MIXING? I’ll take the DISC JOCKEY challenge, any day and put my money where my SKILLS ARE. JUST MIX A RECORD! If I’m going to pay $30 to see you, shouldn’t I hold you to a higher set of standards then some “kid wanna be DJ” playing at his friends birthday party?

Basically what is happening is most producers don’t get paid for the work they put out as producers, so now they have to make money and the way to do that is to tour as a dj. Whether they want to or not it’s they only way these guys are able to make it. Unfortunately these people are not dj’s so when they play it can be very disappointing, but we must remember WE ARE GOING TO SEE THEM TO SUPPORT THEM AS ARTISTS. They need us and we need them. SO STOP STEALING MUSIC AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHOWS TO KEEP THE SCENE ALIVE!!!!!!! ♥ -ck
